Created to deliver prompt air changes and swift clean-up/recovery periods, reducing the waiting period when transferring products between different classification rooms within cleanroom facilities.
This fan filter cleanroom pass through from PBSC has been designed to operate without any connection to the facility’s HVAC system, utilizing the air from the adjacent rooms, decreasing the costs of HVAC systems.
The hatch is manufactured in 304 or 316 grade stainless steel, with minimal visible fixings and recesses, enabling easy cleaning, and the completely frameless glass door leaf provides maximum visibility and natural light.
The trustworthy interlock mechanism is mounted between the two skins of the hatch to reduce the risk of tamper and is available as an electro-mechanical system to supply timed interlocks for air purge cycle, UV light cycles, etc. this assists in the lessening of cross contamination and pressure loss whilst passing products between lower and high classification areas., thus ensuring a safe and secure operation.
The advanced configuration is robust and delivers effortless cleaning and maintenance.
Having a built-in recirculation fan and HEPA filter system with an adjustable fan speed controller allows for between 20-300 air changes per hour, dependent on the size of the hatch.
The HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filter transfer hatch from PBSC can filter small particles, removing up to 99.9% of the particles in the air stream, with rapid particle reduction to meet or surpass the higher grade room requirements with minimal duration.
Numerous UV lights can be included to decrease bioburden. The number of UV lights and length of a cycle is user modifiable. The system observes the life of the UV light with a counter to allow the opportunity to change bulbs at the correct time.
The system is available with either 120V/60Hz or 230/50Hz power supply.
PBSC’s hatches are available with a range of features and options including:
