PBSC provides a VHP decontamination chamber that is a modular, high-level Log6 chamber. Perfect for large equipment loads and material production environments within the fields of Bio-medical, Biopharma, and high containment applications. Additionally, PBSC offers a decontamination pass-through hatch that is ideal for trolleys or small equipment loads. You can choose to have either integrated or non-integrated options for both solutions.
These decontamination chambers also referred to as high containment chambers, hydrogen peroxide chambers, and containment-controlled chambers, are perfect for cleaning large equipment loads in cleanrooms and high containment environments. They can be used in Bio-medical, Biopharma, and high containment applications, and are able to handle material production environments up to BLS4. The chambers utilize leading H202 generator manufacturers to ensure regulatory compliance and traceability of consumables.
Chamber sizes ranging from 3’4” x 3’4” up to 10’ x 16’ (WxD) are available, each featuring pneumatic seal doors.
The decontamination chamber is user-friendly and easy for facility operators to navigate. It is capable of effectively eliminating a wide variety of microorganisms and viruses, making it an ideal solution for decontaminating heat-sensitive items like laptops and biologic preparations. This chamber is an essential component of any facility process philosophy when it comes to transferring materials in and out of a critical environment. To initiate the decontamination cycle, operators simply use the color touch screens located on either side of the chamber, which display in-cycle data from the chamber and H202 generator. Equipped with either an S7-1200 or S7-1500 PLC, which enables Ethernet data communication.
This chamber boasts a variety of useful features, including a housing for H202 bottles, a maglock that sits flush and has a hidden proximity, an onboard printer, a color touch screen, override buttons, sturdy bumpers, and a flush threshold that makes it easy to wheel things in and out. Additionally, full-service support contracts are available to meet the needs of GMP and Life Science facilities.
PBSC also provides surface disinfection pass-through hatches, which are also referred to as decon transfer hatches, high containment hatches, and decontamination hatches. These hatches are perfect for trolleys or small equipment loads. The unit is free-standing and is ideal for equipment loads and material production in containment-controlled, biopharma, and biomedical environments.
Color touch screens are available on either side of the hatch which initiates the decontamination cycle. These screens display in-cycle data from both the hatch and VHP™ generator to operators.
The material decon hatch from PBSC offers a safe and efficient low-heat decontamination solution for items that are sensitive to heat, such as biologic preparations or laptops. This hatch is effective against a wide range of microorganisms and viruses, making it an essential component for any facility's process principles for transferring materials into or out of critical environments. Varied hatch dimensions with pneumatic seal doors are available, from 2’ x 4’ up to 4’ x 5’ (WxH).
The hatch is equipped with an S7-1200 or S7-1500 PLC that uses Ethernet data communication to monitor and record all critical parameters during each cycle.
The decontamination hatch boasts a variety of features, including bespoke trolley and racking designs for easy loading and unloading, stainless steel hinges without visible fixings, a point contact roller system, a decontamination cycle time of only 30 minutes, a bottle housing for H202, a flush maglock with hidden proximity, an override button, no pit in the floor or side access for service requirements, data integrity compliance, large vision panels with flush glazing and full-service support agreements.
Both integrated and non-integrated decontamination chambers and hatches from PBSC are utilized worldwide in establishments to eliminate complex bacteria, viruses, and fungi on material loads or equipment that are entering or exiting controlled areas in the Containment, Biomedical, and Pharmaceutical/Bio-Pharmaceutical, sectors. Please contact PBSC for more details.
